Oakes Truck and Trailer Center, LLC is proud to announce the ASE Certification of Warren Moe.
Warren has achieved the Advanced Level Specialist including Master Auto, Truck, Advanced Diesel, Electronic Diesel Engine Diagnosis certification, Master Engine Machinist including Cylinder Head Specialist, Cylinder Block Specialist and Assembly Specialist. Warren is one of 250 technicians in the world certified at this level.
The National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has a mission to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service through the testing and certification of repair and service professionals. ASE Certification is a nationally recognized standard used to recognize qualified and competent individuals within the industry and across many geographic locations. ASE's certification serves as an impartial, third-party endorsement of your knowledge and experience. These certified individuals can "stand out" as examples of excellence in the automotive and diesel service and repair industry. Prospective candidates register for and take one or more of ASE's 40-plus exams. The tests are grouped into specialties for automobile, medium/heavy truck, truck equipment, school bus, and collision repair technicians as well as engine machinists, alternate fuels technicians, parts specialists, auto service consultants, and collision damage estimators.
Upon passing at least one exam and after providing proof of two years of relevant work experience, the test taker becomes ASE certified. Certification, however, is not for life. To remain certified, those with ASE credentials must be retested every five years.
Finding a good repair facility is always a concern, especially when the unexpected happens. One important thing to remember is to look for ASE Certification. Oakes Truck and Trailer Center, LLC is proud to have two ASE certified technicians and we encourage them to continue as outstanding examples of excellence.
